Bio

I have always been drawn to medicine and have felt it was my calling to help others. My approach involves individualized care as each person is different. I will provide you with the optimal treatment to enhance your body's own innate healing abilities. By removing obstacles to cure, improving function and healing the mind along with the body we can get back to health. Health is a state of wellbeing and happiness.

I feel so lucky to have found naturopathic medicine. It was not until my sister fell ill and was greatly helped by a naturopath that I understood its profound effect. My life in athletics also helped to foster a love of using appropriate nutrition and physical therapies to heal naturally and improve performance. It is now my goal to share the knowledge. I want to help you understand what is happening in your body and provide you with the right tools to heal. I promote and live a balanced and healthy lifestyle. I do not believe it has to be extreme, sometimes it does temporarily, but I fully emphasize everything in balance.

Education

I completed a bachelor of biomedical science at the University of Ottawa. After University, I performed research in a neuroscience lab, focusing in Parkinson’s disease. I then went on to complete my degree in Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic medicine. During my training I completed an internship focused in adjunctive cancer care. Upon graduation I moved to Portland, Oregon to complete a residency through National University of Naturopathic Medicine. I worked at the Portland Clinic of Holistic Health acquiring special training in Carroll Institute method of naturopathic hydrotherapy, functional medicine, and primary care. After completion of residency I continued to work as an associate while starting up a naturopathic practice in an integrative pain clinic. I treat everything from acute to chronic cases. Much of my practice focuses on women’s health, digestive disorders, pain recovery, and sports medicine.

Outside of the clinic, I love snowboarding, surfing, and traveling. I regularly practice yoga and mindfulness. I also enjoy spending time in the kitchen experimenting with healthy baking.
